Story (spoiler safe)

Detention duty goes off campus when Aaron Harris hauls six students to help his girlfriend Amanda salvage her family’s foreclosed farm. The corn is high, the fences lean and the town is busy hanging cute straw effigies for the festival. But the land under Amanda’s boots carries an old debt. A vandalized scarecrow, a sudden hush of crows and the discovery of two missing locals turn a community celebration into a lockdown.
