Gemma, an aspiring actress, relocates to Los Angeles, eager to carve out a career in the city of dreams. Struggling to make ends meet, she accepts a peculiar job at a sleep clinic that claims to help its clients experience and manifest their deepest desires through vivid dream manipulation. The clinic promises its guests the ability to not only dream but to control their dreams, offering an experience so real it could blur the lines between fantasy and reality.

Desperate for money and curious about the possibilities, Gemma agrees to take on an overnight shift at the clinic. Initially the job seems like a dream come true no pun intended.
