Weapons of all kinds have been the trademark of numerous heroes and villains, but Knifeblades io turns the weapons themselves into the hero. This is a universe apparently dominated by circular entities with big facial expressions that maintain a strong but personal gravitational field. This seems to be their main way of interacting with things and the main thing they want to interact with is knives. They participate in a gladiator-style event where they must grab knives in an arena and turn them into a field of death around them. How to Play

Knifeblades io is a 2D top-down game that uses swipe controls that are emulated by the mouse. Use the cursor to navigate the lobby menu in order to buy and combine knives. When you’re in the arena, click the Left Mouse Button and then drag the mouse to move your knife circle around. The goal is to be the last one standing by eliminating the other players.

Your circle starts with five knives that constantly rotate around its body. As you explore the arena, you can collect loose knives to add to your own and increase your offense and defense. When you encounter a player, you need to clash with them by tearing through their knives with your own until you can hit their center. Upon doing so, the player will be eliminated and all their knives will scatter allowing you to collect them.

Clashing is powerful but also puts you at risk. You can use your knives to create a defensive formation by staying still, but you’ll lose knives one at at a time as you maintain it. Be careful as there are also solid barriers scattered around the arena that will quickly knock away your knives on contact. The game ends when there’s only one player left.

Through waiting, claiming rewards from the left side of the screen, and playing, you’ll earn coins. This can be spent on Knives in the lobby menu by clicking on the icon at the bottom. Two of the same knives can be combined to form new knives. To equip, just click or drag them onto your circle. You’ll also rank up as you play which will add new gameplay elements like moving obstacles.

Tips and Tricks

Like with other io games, the key thing is patience. Avoid other players for as long as possible and focus on improving your own power first. Once you feel confident, seek out players who are also on the move to clash with them easily.
