How are you going to make a name for yourself in the Kogama universe if you’re not willing to show your driving skills in Kogama: World Racing? This game world is expanding to cover all sorts of genres and give your avatar a chance to experience various paths in life, including racing. Even though the world has a cartoon feel, car racing is serious with a lot of long and dangerous tracks. You can’t just go fast, you need to go carefully otherwise your car is not going to make it to the end of the race. Kogama has become Gogama.

About Kogama: World Racing

Kogama games have introduced vehicles in other titles, but they’ve usually been an addition to the main style of the game. In this game, the vehicles are the main focus and you have more than one type to choose from. Of course, you don’t have to race if you don’t have to and there are even options for those who feel more comfortable walking around on their legs. However, if that’s more your speed, maybe you’d prefer a game without the word “racing” in the title. This is a racing game with a lot of wackiness and some difficulties to overcome.

How to Play

Kogama: World Racing is a 3D racing game about flying hovering cars along tracks and in arenas using the mouse and keyboard.

Controls

• W/Up Arrow – Move Forward
• S/Down Arrow – Move Backward
• A/Left Arrow – Move Left

The goal depends on what you want out of the game, but many of the modes revolve around driving and defeating other drivers. Whether this is in a race or a battle is up to you, but you’ll have easy access to cars and other items in the different areas. Be sure to mind your health in the top left corner of the screen and the condition of your car as it takes damage.

When you drop into an area, cars, and other items will be placed around the area with rings of light around them. When you’re in the car, they use the same controls as when you’re on the ground and you can even use weapons while driving them. The cars can come in multiple varieties but will also take damage from long falls and bumping into solid objects. If your car gets destroyed, you’ll need to find another one or restart the area. The main menu gives you the chance to customize your avatar if you want by buying cosmetics and upgrades.

Tips and Tricks

This racing game is heavily on the unrealistic side which means the cars have a much looser relationship with physics. This isn’t helped by the fact that they’re hovering above the ground and very prone to sliding. Be very careful when going over big jumps as cars can take heavy damage upon landing.

Kogama: World Racing Game Modes

There are currently five modes to try out:

• World Race – A classic race against a bunch of other racers.
• PvP – A chance to fight other players on the ground.
• Free XP – When active, try it out for some extra experience.
• Car PvP – A chance to fight other players while riding in cars.
• Eiffel Tower – Drive around an area based on the Eiffel Tower.
